Ten kilometres of chalk cliff between Seaford and Birling Gap. The Channel on one side, the South Downs on the other, and seven headlands to climb before the day is done.
You do not need to be a hiker. You need shoes with grip, a waterproof, and the willingness to keep going when the fourth hill turns out not to be the last one. We walk as one group, at a pace the whole group can hold, and nobody finishes on her own.
Every place raises £200 for Kilburn Islamic Centre. That is what keeps the doors open and the programmes running, week after week.

One day, start to finish
Everything after the minibus pulls away is approximate. Traffic, tide and weather all get a say, and the leaders will change the plan on the day if any of them makes it sensible to.
7.45AM
Arrive at the centre. Register, get your bag on the minibus, and hear where we are going
8AM
The minibus leaves. It will not wait, so come early rather than on time
10AM
Arrive in Seaford. Half an hour to change into your boots, fill your bottle and take the safety briefing
10.30AM
Start walking, out of Seaford and onto the coast path
Through the day
Cuckmere Haven, then the Seven Sisters themselves, then Birling Gap. Lunch and rest stops along the way
3.30PM
Finish at Birling Gap. If there is time and the weather holds, the walk out to the lighthouse and back
4PM
The minibus leaves for London
6PM
Back at the centre, give or take whatever the road does

Before you sign up
The Seven Sisters are live chalk cliffs. They erode, and pieces of them come down. The National Trust asks visitors to stay five metres back from the edge and from the base, and the leaders will hold the group to that.
We do not cross the Cuckmere at the river mouth. The route takes the designated path around it. Nobody goes in the sea, and there is no lifeguard on that beach.
The leaders can shorten or change the route on the day. Getting everyone home comes before finishing the walk.
