These terms govern your use of the Kilburn Islamic Centre website. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Use of the site

You may browse, download and share content from this site for personal, non-commercial use provided you keep any credits and notices intact.

  • Do not disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site.
  • Do not use automated systems to scrape content beyond what is publicly accessible.
  • Do not post or submit content that is unlawful, offensive or infringes third-party rights.

Prayer timings

Timings shown on the Prayer Times page are produced in good faith from published astronomical calculations. They should be treated as guidance. Please confirm athan and iqamah times at the centre for worship purposes.

Donations

Donations made through this site are processed by third-party providers. By donating you agree to the provider's terms in addition to ours. Donations are non-refundable except where required by law.

Trips, treks and events

Some events, including overseas trips, require a registration fee paid through this site.

  • Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once paid. This includes the Mount Toubkal hike.
  • If KIC cancels an event, we will refund the fees you have paid in full.
  • Flights, personal equipment and anything else you arrange yourself are your responsibility and are not covered by the fee.
  • Itineraries are indicative. Timings, routes and accommodation may change. On mountain trips a summit attempt depends on the weather, the conditions and the judgement of the qualified guides leading the group, and safety decisions rest with them.
  • You are responsible for being sufficiently fit and well for the activity you register for, and for telling us anything that affects your safety on it.

Fundraising pages

Where an event includes fundraising, we may create a public page for each participant.

  • Everything raised through these pages goes to Kilburn Islamic Centre. It does not reduce the participant's own registration fee.
  • Donations are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Your first name, the amount you give and any message you leave are shown publicly on that page. You can choose to give anonymously, in which case your name is not shown.
  • We may remove a message that is unlawful, offensive or otherwise inappropriate.

Intellectual property

All content on the site, text, images, logos and layout, is owned by or licensed to Kilburn Islamic Centre. All rights reserved.

This site may link to third-party resources. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

Liability

The site is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, KIC excludes liability for any loss or damage arising from use of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
